Abstract Two new and three known iridoids have been isolated from the fresh, whole spring leaves of Plumeria obtusa . The new iridoids have been characterized as 6″- O -acetylplumieride p-E -coumarate and 6″- O -acetylplumieride p-Z -coumarate, while the remaining compounds have been identified as plumieride, plumieride p-Z -coumarate and plumieride p-E -coumarate through spectral studies.
