As the encounters are relatively short and take place in daily routine settings, it is reasonable to have trainees evaluated by different supervisors at different occasions on different patients during their residency program. The faculty gives precise feedback to the trainee immediately after the observed performance and at the end the deficiencies and weaknesses of the trainee are highlighted for improvement and thereby contributing to the professional development.
