[Objective]To evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of ELISA and TRUST applied in syphilis detection,so as to identify the optimal method of screening of blood donors.[Methods]Taking TPPA as the golden standard method of syphilis detection,the sensitivity and specificity of ELISA and TRUST were evaluated.[Results]Among the 23689 blood donors,322 samples were positive with syphilis,the positive rate was 1.359%.The sensitivity and specificity of TRUST were 40.62% and 99.18%,respectively.While… CONTINUE READING
