Interference among concurrent transmissions complicates QoS provisioning for multimedia applications in wireless mesh networks. In this paper we propose MARIA (mesh admission control and QoS routing with interference awareness), a scheme towards enhancing QoS support for multimedia in wireless mesh networks.
