The Vena Cava Syndrome (SVCS) is a medical condi on that can be treated in some cases of a clinical urgency that needs immediate ac on. Early clinical diagnosis and immediate interven on in suppor ve measures are key in the fi rst few hours. Currently, the use of systemic cor costeroids and loop diure cs is controversial, being the stent the treatment of choice.
