M-ary Orthogonal Modulation for Mc-cdma Systems in Indoor Wireless Radio Networks

In this paper, we introduce the orthogonal M-ary Walsh modulation for multicarrier code-division-multiple-access (MC-CDMA) transmission. Analytical statements will be given for an AWGN channel and simulation results will be illustrated for a Rayleigh fading indoor channel assuming uplink transmission and coherent reception. Comparisons with antipodal modulation show that Walsh modulation performs better in terms of bit error rate and spectral eeciency.
