Coincident lymphoma and pregnancy is rare, occurring in only one of 1,000 or fewer deliveries. Patients with Hodgkin's disease usually present with typical manifestations, and most studies suggest that the disease probably has little or no effect on the pregnancy and vise versa. In contrast, patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma often have unusual manifestations and their diagnosis is frequently delayed.
