Lymphoid hyperplasia causing recurrent rectal prolapse.

Abstract

An 8-year-old girl had a 5-month history of recurrent rectal prolapse. On colonoscopy, two submucosal masses were noted in the distal rectum and diagnosed by biopsy as benign lymphoid hyperplasia.
