Mucoceles are benign lesions of the minor salivary glands that are common in children. The most frequent localizations of these lesions include the lower lip and the cheek mucosa. Such mucoceles are caused by traumas, the rubbing of orthodontic devices, or biting habits. The purpose of this article was to describe the case of a 4-mm extravasation mucocele located on the lower lip of a 9-year-old girl.
