Abstract In multiscale models of walking technicolor, relatively light color-singlet technipions are produced in q q annihilation in association with longitudinal W and Z bosons and with each other. The technipions decay as π T 0 → b b and π T + → c b . Their production rates are resonantly enhanced by isovector technirho vector mesons with mass M W + M πT ≲ M ϱT ≲ 2 M πT . At the Tevatron, these associated production rates are 1–10 picobarns for M πT ⋍ 100 GeV . Such a low mass technipion… Expand

Search for a neutral technicolor signature in pp̄ collisions at [square root of s] = 18 TeV
The standard model (SM) of particle physics has been a very successful theory for decades; however, several features remain unexplained. One such feature is the mechanism of electro-weakExpand
Heavy octets and Tevatron signals with three or four b jets
Hypothetical color-octet particles of spin 0, pair-produced at hadron colliders through their QCD coupling, may lead to final states involving three or four b jets. The scalar octets may also beExpand
Detecting and studying the lightest pseudo-Goldstone boson at future pp, e+e− and μ+μ− colliders
For an attractive class of dynamical symmetry breaking (technicolor) models, the lightest neutral pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson (P0) contains only down-type techniquarks and charged technileptons. WeExpand

Electroweak and flavor dynamics at hadron colliders - I
This is the first of two reports cataloging the principal signatures of electroweak and flavor dynamics at {anti p}p and pp colliders. Here, we discuss some of the signatures of dynamical electroweakExpand
Discovering technicolor at hadron colliders

Two Scale Technicolor

Chiral hierarchies from slowly running couplings in technicolor theories.
Chiral-symmetry breaking in asymptotically free theories with slowly running couplings is analyzed and an enhancement of the fermion condensate defined with the ultraviolet cutoff M, while the Goldstone-boson decay constant F remains essentially unaltered. Expand
