Low power K-band second harmonic balanced VCO IC using InP based RTDs

Abstract

A K-band InP-based RTD second harmonic balanced VCO utilizing a push-push approach is presented. The fabricated RTD VCO IC shows the total dc power consumption of 136 μW, which is the lowest reported up to date in the K band.
