OBJECTIVE To evaluate the clinical effectiveness of low-frequency pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy for women with fibromyalgia (FM). METHODS Fifty-six women with FM, aged 18 to 60 years, were randomly assigned to either PEMF or sham therapy.
