We compute the nonholomorphic corrections to the low-energy effective action (higher derivative terms) in $\mathcal{N}=2, \mathrm{SU}(2)$ super Yang-Mills theory coupled to hypermultiplets on a non-Abelian background for a class of gauge fixing conditions. A general procedure for calculating the gauge parameter dependent contributions to the one-loop superfield effective action is developed. The one-loop nonholomorphic effective potential is exactly found in terms of the Euler dilogarithm…

Higher order contributions to the effective action of = 4 super Yang-Mills

: The one-loop low-energy efiective action for non-abelian N = 4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory is computed to order F 6 by use of heat kernel techniques in N = 1 superspace. At the component level,

Higher order contributions to the effective action of Script N = 4 super Yang-Mills

Background field formalism and construction of effective action for N = 2, d = 3 supersymmetric gauge theories

We review the background field method for three-dimensional Yang-Mills and Chern-Simons models in N = 2 superspace. Superfield proper time (heat kernel) techniques are developed and exact expressions

Construction of one-loop Script N = 4 SYM effective action in the harmonic superspace approach

We develop a systematic approach to construct the one-loop = 4 SYM effective action depending on both = 2 vector multiplet and hypermultiplet background fields. Beginning with the formulation of = 4

Low-energy effective actions in three-dimensional extended SYM theories

We develop the background field method in the $ \mathcal{N} = 2 $, d = 3 superspace for studying effective actions in three-dimensional SYM models which live in the world-volume of various 2-branes.

Two loop Kahler potential in beta-deformed N=4 SYM theory

In = 2 superconformal field theories the Kahler potential is known to be tree level exact. The β-deformation of = 4 SU(N) SYM reduces the amount of supersymmetry to = 1, allowing for non-trivial,

Superfield approach to the construction of effective action in quantum field theory with extended supersymmetry

We review the current state of research on the construction of effective actions in supersymmetric quantum field theory. Special attention is paid to gauge models with extended supersymmetry in the
