This study analyzes the role of angiotensin II (Ang II), via AT1) receptors, in the involvement of cyclooxygenase (COX)-2-derived prostanoids in phenylephrine responses in normotensive rats (Wistar Kyoto; WKY) and spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR).
