In loop quantum cosmology, the universe avoids a big bang singularity and undergoes an early and short super-inflation phase. During super-inflation, non-perturbative quantum corrections to the dynamics drive an inflaton field up its potential hill, thus setting the initial conditions for standard inflation. We show that this effect can raise the inflaton high enough to achieve sufficient e-foldings in the standard inflation era. We analyse the cosmological perturbations generated when slow… Expand

Inflationary universe in loop quantum cosmology
Loop quantum cosmology provides a nice solution for avoiding the big- bang singularity through a big- bounce mechanism in the high energy region. In loop quantum cosmology an inflationary universe isExpand
Inflationary scalar spectrum in loop quantum cosmology
In the context of loop quantum cosmology, we consider an inflationary era driven by a canonical scalar field and occurring in the semiclassical regime, where spacetime is a continuum but quantumExpand

Observational constraints of a power spectrum from superinflation in loop quantum cosmology
In loop quantum cosmology there may be a superinflation phase in the very early universe, in which a single scalar field with a negative power-law potential V = -M 4 (φ/M) β plays an important role.Expand
Gravitational wave generation in loop quantum cosmology
We calculate the full spectrum, as observed today, of the cosmological gravitational waves generated within a model based on loop quantum cosmology. It is assumed that the universe, after theExpand
Genericness of inflation in isotropic loop quantum cosmology.

It is proved that the LQC modified scalar field generates exponential inflation in the small scale factor regime, for all positive definite potentials, independent of initial conditions and independent of ambiguity parameters. Expand
Gravitational wave background from superinflation in loop quantum cosmology
We investigate the behavior of tensor fluctuations in Loop Quantum Cosmology, focusing on a class of scaling solutions which admit a near scale-invariant scalar field power spectrum. We obtain theExpand
