Lebbeus uschakovi (Kobjakova, 1936), known until now only upon the type specimens (type locality near Iona I. in the north-western Sea of Okhotsk) is redescribed on the basis of an extant female syntype and a new specimen (female) collected in the type locality in 2017. Lectotype (deposited in the Zoological Institute of Russian Academy of Science, St. Petersburg) is designated. A characteristic coloration pattern is illustrated. L. uschakovi belongs to the group of Lebbeus species with epipods…

Thoridae (Crustacea: Decapoda) can penetrate the Abyss: a new species of Lebbeus from the Sea of Okhotsk, representing the deepest record of the family
TLDR
The new species is the deepest dwelling representative of the genus Lebbeus and the family Thoridae and is separated by minor morphological features, such as the armature of the rostrum and telson, meral spinulation of ambulatory pereiopods and the shape of the pleonal pleurae.

A poorly known thorid shrimp, Lebbeus longidactylus (Kobjakova, 1936), is redescribed on the basis of material collected from the Nemuro Strait, southwestern part of the Sea of Okhotsk, at depths of
A new species of the pandalid shrimp genus Pandalus (Crustacea: Decapoda: Caridea) from the Sea of Okhotsk off eastern Sakhalin, Russian Far East
TLDR
The new species can be distinguished from P. hypsinotus by the more strongly upturned rostrum, the relatively low postrostral ridge on the carapace, fewer carpal articles of the left second pereopod and the small body size.
Evidence of niche conservatism and host fidelity in the polar shrimp Lebbeus kiae n. sp. (Decapoda: Caridea: Thoridae) from the Ross Sea, Antarctica
TLDR
The persistence of ecological traits, i.e., the defensive association with sea anemones, indicates the presence of niche conservatism in this clade of shrimps, although more molecular data are needed to unravel the phylogenetic relationships within the genus Lebbeus.
Reinstatement and redescription of Lebbeus armatus (Owen, 1839), long synonymized with L. groenlandicus (Fabricius, 1775), and description of one new species from the southwestern Sea of Okhotsk, Hokkaido, Japan (Crustacea: Decapoda: Caridea: Thoridae).
TLDR
The caridean shrimp species Lebbeus armatus (Owen, 1839) (Thoridae), originally described from Kamchatka, is reinstated from the synonymy of L. groenlandicus and redescribed and a new species, L. magnificus, is described and illustrated on the basis of five specimens from the Kitami-Yamato Bank, southwestern Sea of Okhotsk, Hokkaido, Japan.

A new species of Lebbeus (Crustacea: Decapoda: Caridea: Hippolytidae) from the Von Damm Vent Field, Caribbean Sea
TLDR
A new species of the hippolytid shrimp genus Lebbeus White, 1847 is described from the Von Damm Vent Field (VDVF) on the Mid-Cayman Spreading Centre, Caribbean Sea, at 2294 m water depth, and appears to be the first hippolyTid shrimp at a vent field known from outside the Pacific Ocean.
Reproductive ecology of a hippolytid shrimp, Lebbeus virentova (Caridea: Hippolytidae) at the Von Damm Vent Field, Mid-Cayman Spreading Centre
TLDR
The sampled population of L. virentova had a unimodal size–frequency distribution pattern in February and June, consistent with continuous recruitment and mortality, and a large embryo size in this species suggests possible abbreviated larval development, as described in other species of the genus from non-chemosynthetic environments.

TLDR
Two specimens representing two hippolytid genera were sampled recently from the Coral Seamount, southwest Indian Ocean, at 732 m water depth and their morphologies are compared with those of previously described species.
