The objective was to evaluate long-term transverse, anteroposterior and vertical skeletal changes after rapid maxillary expansion (RME). The data were clinical trials that assessed skeletal changes through cephalometric analysis. No surgical or other simultaneous treatment during the evaluation period was accepted.
