  author={Chibo Liu and Jianjun Lin},
Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been demonstrated to be dysregulated in many disease states and have pivotal roles in various pathophysiological processes. However, the expression, roles and potential mechanism of lncRNA ZEB1-AS1 in osteosarcoma are still unknown. In this study, we measured ZEB1-AS1 expression and the results showed that ZEB1-AS1 was upregulated in osteosarcoma tissues and cells. Increased expression of ZEB1AS1 is correlated with larger tumor size, progressed Enneking stage…

Long Non-coding RNA ZEB 1-AS 1 Promotes Tumorigenesis and Metastasis in Colorectal Cancer
Emerging evidence implicates that a large fraction of human genome was transcribed but the transcripts known as long non-coding RNA are not translated into proteins. They are contributing in
Long Non-Coding RNA ZEB1-Antisense 1 Affects Cell Migration and Invasion of Cervical Cancer by Regulating Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition via the p38MAPK Signaling Pathway
Inhibition of ZEB1-AS1 can block the p38MAPK signaling pathway, ultimately restricting the EMT and suppressing cell migration and invasion of cervical cancer cells.
LncRNA ZEB1-AS1 predicts unfavorable prognosis in gastric cancer.
ZEB1-AS1 served as oncogenic roles in the regulation of gastric cancer cells migration, invasion and EMT process through modulating ZEB1.
Long non-coding RNA FTH1P3 facilitates uveal melanoma cell growth and invasion through miR-224-5p
Elevated expression of FTH1P3 enhanced uveal melanoma cell proliferation and migration by inhibiting miR-224-5p expression, suggesting that lncRNA FTH 1P3 plays a crucial role in uveAL melanoma.
Integrative analysis reveals driver long non-coding RNAs in osteosarcoma
This study facilitates the understanding of the oncogenic or tumor-suppressor role of lncRNAs in OS, but also provides potential therapies for the patients with OS with metastasis or relapse.

Melatonin inhibited the biological functions of OS cells by repressing the expression of lncRNAs through regulating the Wnt/β‐catenin signalling pathway, which indicated that melatonin might be applied as a potentially useful and effective natural agent in the treatment of OS.

Upregulation of long noncoding RNA ZEB1-AS1 promotes tumor metastasis and predicts poor prognosis in hepatocellular carcinoma
The results provide novel insights into the function of lncRNA-driven hepatocarcinogenesis, highlight the important role of ZEB1-AS1 and Z EB1 in HCC progression, and indicate that ZEB- AS1 may be served as a valuable prognostic biomarker for HCC.
Long noncoding RNA FGFR3-AS1 promotes osteosarcoma growth through regulating its natural antisense transcript FGFR3
The mechanisms of how antisense noncoding RNA regulate the expression of sense genes are demonstrated, and the pivotal functions of FGFR3-AS1 in osteosarcoma are shown.
Expression of long non-coding RNA ZEB1-AS1 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and its correlation with tumor progression and patient survival.
Results indicated that lncRNA ZEB1-AS1 was associated with tumor progression and could be an independent prognostic factor for ESCC patients.
A long noncoding RNA activated by TGF-β promotes the invasion-metastasis cascade in hepatocellular carcinoma.
Findings suggest that lncRNA-ATB, a mediator of TGF-β signaling, could predispose HCC patients to metastases and may serve as a potential target for antimetastatic therapies.
H19 Functions as a ceRNA in Promoting Metastasis Through Decreasing miR-200s Activity in Osteosarcoma.
Gain- and loss-of-function assays found that H19 promotes migration and invasion in osteosarcoma cells and promotes metastasis through upregulation of ZEB1 and ZEB2 by competitively binding the miR-200 family.
Antisense long non-coding RNA PCNA-AS1 promotes tumor growth by regulating proliferating cell nuclear antigen in hepatocellular carcinoma.
The PCNA-AS1, antisense to PCNA, is significantly up-regulated in HCC and could promote tumor growth in vitro and in vivo and serve as a novel therapeutic target.
Long non‐coding RNA GHET1 promotes gastric carcinoma cell proliferation by increasing c‐Myc mRNA stability
Findings indicate thatGHET1 plays a pivotal role in gastric carcinoma cell proliferation via increasing c‐Myc mRNA stability and expression, which suggests potential use of GHET1 for the prognosis and treatment of gastric cancer.
Oncofetal long noncoding RNA PVT1 promotes proliferation and stem cell‐like property of hepatocellular carcinoma cells by stabilizing NOP2

The risk-associated long noncoding RNA NBAT-1 controls neuroblastoma progression by regulating cell proliferation and neuronal differentiation.
NBAT-1 loss affects neuronal differentiation through activation of the neuronal-specific transcription factor NRSF/REST, and contributes to aggressive neuroblastoma by increasing proliferation and impairing differentiation of neuronal precursors.
