Lithium abundances are presented for a sample of 181 nearby F and G dwarfs with accurate Hipparcos parallaxes. The stars are on circular orbits about the Galactic centre and, hence, are identified as belonging to the thin disc. This sample is combined with two published surveys to provide a catalogue of lithium abundances, metallicities ([Fe/H]), masses, and ages for 451 F-G dwarfs, almost all belonging to the thin disc. The lithium abundances are compared and contrasted with published lithium…
Parameters and abundances for 1002 stars of spectral types F, G, and K of luminosity class IV and V have been derived. After culling the sample for rotational velocity and effective temperature, 867
High-resolution Spectroscopic Study of Dwarf Stars in the Northern Sky: Lithium, Carbon, and Oxygen Abundances
Abundances of lithium, carbon, and oxygen have been derived using spectral synthesis for a sample of 249 bright F, G, and K Northern Hemisphere dwarf stars from the high-resolution spectra acquired
Parameters and abundances for 451 stars of spectral types F, G, and K of luminosity classes I and II have been derived. Absolute magnitudes and E(B – V) have been derived for the warmer stars in
Two distinct halo populations in the solar neighborhood - IV. Lithium abundances
Context. A previous study of F and G main-sequence stars in the solar neighborhood has revealed the existence of two distinct halo populations with a clear separation in [α/Fe] for the metallicity
Lithium abundance in the metal-poor open cluster NGC 2243
Context. Lithium is a fundamental element for studying the mixing mechanisms acting in the stellar interiors, for understanding the chemical evolution of the Galaxy and the Big Bang nucleosynthesis.
The Gaia -ESO Survey: Lithium enrichment histories of the Galactic thick and thin disc
Lithium abundance in most of the warm metal-poor main sequence stars shows a constarnt plateau (A(Li) ~ 2.2 dex) and then the upper envelope of the lithium vs. metallicity distribution increases as
Lithium in M 67: From the main sequence to the red giant branch
Lithium abundances in open clusters are a very effective probe of mixing processes, and their study can help to understand the large depletion of lithium in the Sun. Due to its age and metallicity,
Lithium Abundances in a Sample of Planet-hosting Dwarfs
This work presents a homogeneous determination of lithium abundances in a large sample of giant-planet-hosting stars (N = 117) and a control sample of disk stars without detected planets (N = 145).
Abundances in the Local Region. III. Southern F, G, and K Dwarfs
Stellar parameters and abundances have been derived from a sample of 907 F, G, and K dwarfs. The highresolution, high signal-to-noise spectra utilized were acquired with the HARPS spectrograph of the
Chemical evolution of the Galactic bulge as traced by microlensed dwarf and subgiant stars
Lithium abundances are presented for 91 dwarf and subgiant stars in the Galactic bulge. The analysis is based on line synthesis of the 7Li line at 6707 Å in high-resolution spectra obtained during

Lithium and rotation in F and G dwarfs and subgiants
Lithium abundances have been determined in 127 F and G Pop I stars based on new measurements of the equivalent width of the6707 A Li I line from their high resolution CCD spectra. Distances and
The chemical compositions of Galactic disc F and G dwarfs
Photospheric abundances are presented for 27 elements from carbon to europium in 181 F and G dwarfs from a differential local thermodynamic equilibrium (LTE) analysis of high-resolution and high
Membership, metallicity and lithium abundances for solar-type stars in NGC 6633
We present spectroscopic observations of candidate F, G and K type stars in NGC 6633, an open cluster with a similar age to the Hyades. From the radial velocities and metal-line equivalent widths we
Lithium in the Young Cluster NGC 2264
We use moderate-resolution, moderate signal-to-noise ratio spectroscopy to derive Li abundances for six F and G stars in the young (few Myr) cluster NGC 2264. These are combined with consistently
We have obtained Keck HIRES spectra of 35 objects in the premain-sequence cluster NGC 2264 in order to determine their radial velocities, rotation rates, activity levels, and Li abundances. Our
On the Galactic Disk Metallicity Distribution from Open Clusters. I. New Catalogs and Abundance Gradient
We have compiled two new open cluster catalogs. In the first one, there are 119 objects with ages, distances, and metallicities available, while in the second one, 144 objects have both absolute
Lithium abundances of intermediate-mass, pre-main-sequence stars in Orion IC
Lithium abundances are determined for 23 pre-main-sequence (PMS) stars with masses 1.5 ≤ M/M ○ . ≤ 2.8 in or near the Orion Ic cluster. Six stars, five of which have uncertain membership status,
Lithium in the Coma Berenices open cluster
Lithium abundances, radial velocities, and rotational velocities are reported for 20 candidate F, G and K stars of the sparse Coma Berenices open cluster. All the stars are proper-motion selected,
Rotation and lithium in the late-type stars of NGC 2516
We present CCD photometry and high-resolution spectroscopy of low-mass stars in the open cluster NGC 2516, which has an age of about 150Myr and may have a much lower metallicity than the Pleiades. 24
