Clinically, diabetes mellitus is closely associated with and induces certain cardiovascular diseases. The aim of this study was to investigate endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress-associated apoptosis of diabetic cardiomyopathy (DCM), and explore the protective mechanism of liraglutide.
