  • Background: Surgery of multiple lipomas, as in patients with familial multiple lipomatosis, is often limited by poor aesthetic outcome owing to extensive scarring. For this reason, phosphatidylcholine (PDC) has been widely used to treat areas of localized fat accumulation.
