The role of the phosphorylated carboxyl-terminal domain of CTP:phosphocholine cytidylyltransferase (CT) in the regulation of enzyme activity was investigated by comparing the catalytic properties of wild-type CT to two mutant proteins with altered carboxyl-terminal phosphorylation domains.
