The DAB (digital audio broadcasting) system which is based on Eureka-147 employing COFDM (coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) technique is evolved into DMB (digital multimedia broadcasting) system that is categorized into terrestrial DMB and satellite DMB. The satellite DMB is multi-channel multimedia broadcasting service for the reception by the portable or vehicular receiver.
