In recent years, the scholarly study of ‘global’ English, language policy, language ideologies, sociolinguistics, and the global English teaching profession has expanded hugely. Analyzing how the global dominance of English in all domains of power is maintained, legitimized, and persists in the 21st century, Linguistic Imperialism Continued reflects and contributes in important ways to understanding these developments.
