Abstract In the present study the biosorption characteristics of Cd (II) and Zn (II) ions from monocomponent aqueous solutions by Agaricus bisporus macrofungus were investigated. The initial metal ion concentrations, contact time, initial pH and temperature were parameters that influence the biosorption.
