@article{Mo2015LimitedFI, title={Limited feedback in multiple-antenna systems with one-bit quantization}, author={Jianhua Mo and Robert W. Heath}, journal={2015 49th Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems and Computers}, year={2015}, pages={1432-1436} }
Communication systems with low-resolution analog- to-digital-converters (ADCs) can exploit channel state information at the transmitter (CSIT) and receiver. This paper presents initial results on codebook design and performance analysis for limited feedback systems with one-bit ADCs. Different from the high-resolution case, the absolute phase at the receiver is important to align the phase of the received signals when the received signal is sliced by one-bit ADCs. A new codebook design for the…

Full-Duplex Massive MIMO Relaying Systems With Low-Resolution ADCs
- Computer ScienceIEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications
- 2017
It is found that, with only low-resolution ADCs at the relay, increasing the number of relay antennas is an effective method to compensate for the rate loss caused by coarse quantization, and deploying massive relay antenna arrays can still bring significant power savings, i.e., the transmit power of each source can be cut down proportional to a constant rate.
