We examine the sensitivity of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) to light lepton portal dark matter with its mass below 10 GeV. The model features an extra doublet scalar field and singlet Dirac dark matter, which have Yukawa interactions with left-handed leptons. To correctly produce the dark matter abundance via the thermal freeze-out, a large mass splitting among the extra scalars is required, thus providing a light neutral scalar below O ( 10 ) GeV and heavy neutral and charged scalars at the…

Chasing the two-Higgs doublet model in the di-Higgs production

We investigate the di-Higgs productions at the Large Hadron Collider in the two-Higgs doublet model. In particular, we study the productions of an extra scalar, φ ( φ = H, A ), in association with

Light thermal relics enabled by a second Higgs

Sub-GeV thermal relic dark matter typically requires the existence of a light mediator particle. We introduce the light two-Higgs-doublet portal, illustrated by a minimal UV-complete model for

Light mass window of lepton portal dark matter

We explore a novel possibility that dark matter has a light mass below 1 GeV in a lepton portal dark matter model. There are Yukawa couplings involving dark matter, left-handed leptons and an extra

Muon g-2 in Lepton Portal Dark Matter

The Lepton Portal Dark Matter model, in which dark matter states only coupling to the charged leptons, can explain the excess of the muon anomalous magnetic moment measured by the Muon g− 2

Lepton Portal dark matter

A bstractWe study a class of simplified dark matter models in which dark matter couples directly with a mediator and a charged lepton. This class of Lepton Portal dark matter models has very rich

LEP Shines Light on Dark Matter

Dark matter pair production at high energy colliders may leave observable signatures in the energy and momentum spectra of the objects recoiling against the dark matter. We use LEP data on

Thermal dark matter through the Dirac neutrino portal

We study a simple model of thermal dark matter annihilating to standard model neutrinos via the neutrino portal. A (pseudo-)Dirac sterile neutrino serves as a mediator between the visible and the

Dark matter in the inert doublet model after the discovery of a Higgs-like boson at the LHC

A bstractWe examine the Inert Doublet Model in light of the discovery of a Higgs-like boson with a mass of roughly 126 GeV at the LHC. We evaluate one-loop corrections to the scalar masses and

Minimal Realization of Light Thermal Dark Matter.

We propose a minimal UV-complete model for kinematically forbidden dark matter (DM) leading to a sub-GeV thermal relic. Our crucial realization is that the two-Higgs-doublet model can provide a light

Anatomy of the inert two-Higgs-doublet model in the light of the LHC and non-LHC dark matter searches

The inert two-Higgs-doublet model (i2HDM) is a theoretically well-motivated example of a minimal consistent dark matter (DM) model which provides monojet, mono-Z, mono-Higgs, and

Dirac dark matter with a charged mediator: a comprehensive one-loop analysis of the direct detection phenomenology

We analyze the direct detection signals of a toy model consisting of a Dirac dark matter particle which couples to one Standard Model fermion via a scalar mediator. For all scenarios, the dark matter

Higgs Physics at the HL-LHC and HE-LHC

The discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012, by the ATLAS and CMS experiments, was a success achieved with only a percent of the entire dataset foreseen for the LHC. It opened a landscape of
