The paper describes the Fuzzy-PID cascade controller to control the level of horizontal tank that has diameter 300 mm and 480 mm long. Interface card module PCI-6024E in computer and Lab View software program is used for built the cascade controller. Structure of its where the inner loop is a PID controller for regulating flow rate of system and outer loop is a Fuzzy logic controller for control the level. The response time, steady state error, load disturbance, and control valve action of…

DESIGN OF OPTIMUM CONTROLLERS FOR HORIZONTAL TANK PROCESS

The result of this comparative study proves that Fuzzy PID controller offers better response by improving the static and dynamic characteristics of level control in the horizontal tank.

Implementation of MATLAB-GUI based Fuzzy Logic Controllers for Liquid Level Control System

The proposed GUI not only compares the simulation and real-time results of PIDC, FLC, and IFLC controllers but also allows user to test and tune the controller of interest.

Design and Implementation of a Water Level Controller using Fuzzy Logic

This paper analyzes the effectiveness of water level control using fuzzy logic and proposes a cost effective and accurate system which can be made cost effective by using simple sensing principle like transistor switching.

Active disturbance rejection-based industrial cascade control plant with cloud monitoring

The disturbances in a primary and secondary loop of the cascade process, which are affecting the overall settling time of the process, are eliminated by using the proposed, ADRC-ADRC structure in the cascade loop.

PERFORMANCE COMPARISON OF PID TUNING BY USING ZIEGLER-NICHOLS AND PARTICLE SWARM OPTIMIZATION APPROACHES IN A WATER CONTROL SYSTEM

The results demonstrate that the PSO approach produces promising results with lower overshoot compared to the ZN approach, and would be advantageous for the industries related to single tank water control system for a better PID gain tuning.

Tuning of Classical Controller Using Evolutionary Method for Real Time System

The objective of this paper is to design and comparative analysis of classical controller tuning using traditional and evolutionary methods for real time system and the proposalintegral-derivative control law is used as control algorithm in controller.
