In this paper we discuss a minor modification of a previous SU(5) × A5 flavour model which exhibits at leading order golden ratio mixing and sum rules for the heavy and the light neutrino masses. Although this model could predict all mixing angles well it fails in generating a sufficient large baryon asymmetry via the leptogenesis mechanism. We repair this deficit here, discuss model building aspects and give analytical estimates for the generated baryon asymmetry before we perform a numerical…

Addendum to “Leptogenesis in an SU(5)×A5 golden ratio flavour model” [Nucl. Phys. B 896 (2015) 311–329]
We derive and discuss the solution of the Boltzmann equations for leptogenesis in a phenomenologically viable SU(5) × A5 golden ratio flavour model proposed in [1,2]. The model employs, in
Constraining A4 leptonic flavour model parameters at colliders and beyond
A bstractThe observed pattern of mixing in the neutrino sector may be explained by the presence of a non-Abelian, discrete flavour symmetry broken into residual subgroups at low energies. Many
On the Predictivity of Neutrino Mass Sum Rules
Correlations between light neutrino observables are arguably the strongest predictions of lepton flavour models based on (discrete) symmetries, except for the very few cases which unambiguously
Unified models of neutrinos, flavour and CP Violation
Abstract Recent data from neutrino experiments gives intriguing hints about the mass ordering, the C P violating phase and non-maximal atmospheric mixing. There seems to be a (one sigma) preference
Renormalisation group corrections to neutrino mass sum rules
A bstractNeutrino mass sum rules are an important class of predictions in flavour models relating the Majorana phases to the neutrino masses. This leads, for instance, to enormous restrictions on the
Renormalisation group corrections to neutrino mixing sum rules
A bstractNeutrino mixing sum rules are common to a large class of models based on the (discrete) symmetry approach to lepton flavour. In this approach the neutrino mixing matrix U is assumed to have
Generating lepton masses and mixings with a heavy vector doublet
We construct a viable extension of the SM with a heavy vector in the fundamental $SU\left( 2\right) _{L}$ representation and nine SM singlet scalar fields, consistent with the current SM fermion mass
Peccei-Quinn symmetry for Dirac seesaw and leptogenesis
We extend the DFSZ invisible axion model to simultaneously explain small Dirac neutrino masses and cosmic matter-antimatter asymmetry. After the Peccei-Quinn and electroweak symmetry breaking, the
CP Violation in the Lepton Sector and Implications for Leptogenesis
We review the current status of the data on neutrino masses and lepton mixing and the prospects for measuring the CP-violating phases in the lepton sector. The possible connection between low energy
Leptogenesis, radiative neutrino masses and inert Higgs triplet dark matter
We extend the standard model by three types of inert elds including Majorana fermion singlets/triplets, real Higgs singlets/triplets and leptonic Higgs doublets. In the presence of a softly broken

An SU(5)×A5 golden ratio flavour model
Abstract In this paper we study an SU ( 5 ) × A 5 flavour model which exhibits a neutrino mass sum rule and golden ratio mixing in the neutrino sector which is corrected from the charged lepton
Majorana Phases and Leptogenesis in See-Saw Models with A 4 Symmetry
The related issues of Majorana CP violation in the lepton sector and lepto- genesis are investigated in detail in two rather generic supersymmetric models with type I see-saw mechanism of neutrino
Predicting the values of the leptonic CP violation phases in theories with discrete flavour symmetries
Using the fact that the neutrino mixing matrix U=Ue†Uν, where Ue and Uν result from the diagonalisation of the charged lepton and neutrino mass matrices, we consider a number of forms of Uν
Leptogenesis and Low Energy CP Violation in Neutrino Physics
Abstract Taking into account the recent progress in the understanding of the lepton flavor effects in leptogenesis, we investigate in detail the possibility that the CP-violation necessary for the
A new bridge between leptonic CP violation and leptogenesis
Abstract Flavour effects due to lepton interactions in the early Universe may have played an important role in the generation of the cosmological baryon asymmetry through leptogenesis. If the only
Updated fit to three neutrino mixing: status of leptonic CP violation
A bstractWe present a global analysis of solar, atmospheric, reactor and accelerator neutrino data in the framework of three-neutrino oscillations based on data available in summer 2014. We provide
A Golden $A_5$ Model of Leptons with a Minimal NLO Correction
Abstract We propose a new A 5 model of leptons which corrects the LO predictions of Golden Ratio mixing via a minimal NLO Majorana mass correction which completely breaks the original Klein symmetry
Determining the Dirac CP Violation Phase in the Neutrino Mixing Matrix from Sum Rules
Abstract Using the fact that the neutrino mixing matrix U = U e † U ν , where U e and U ν result from the diagonalisation of the charged lepton and neutrino mass matrices, we analyse the sum rules
Search for Majorana neutrinos with the first two years of EXO-200 data
New results from EXO-200 based on a large 136Xe exposure are reported, finding no statistically significant evidence for 0νββ decay and set a half-life limit of 1.1 × 1025 years at the 90 per cent confidence level.
Sizeable θ13 from the charged lepton sector in SU(5), (tri-)bimaximal neutrino mixing and Dirac CP violation
The recent results from T2K and MINOS experiments point towards a relatively large value of the reactor angle θ13 in the lepton sector. In this paper we show how a large θ13 can arise from the
