Lepiotaceous Fungi in California, U.s.a. – 1. Leucoagaricus Amanitoides Sp. Nov

Abstract

A new, white Leucoagaricus species is described from central California. Leucoagaricus amanitoides is characterized by a volvate, short and bulbous stipe, long narrowly clavate cystidia and ellipsoid spores without a germ pore.
