Normal plasma thyroid hormones with elevation of thyrotrophin levels in asymptomatic patients is known as subclinical hypothyroidism. Radionuclide angiography was used to study left ventricular function in 10 such patients before and after establishment of normal thyrotrophin levels with thyroxine.
