We review recent progress on computing scattering amplitudes of planar 𝒩 = 4 super Yang‐Mills at strong coupling by using the AdS/CFT duality. We consider in detail the scattering of four gluons and do explicit computations by using both, dimensional regularization and a cut‐off in the radial direction. The later scheme is particularly appropriate for understanding the conformal properties of the amplitudes.
Scattering amplitudes and the AdS/CFT correspondence
We give a pedagogical account of recent progress concerning the computation of scattering amplitudes of planar maximally supersymmetric Yang–Mills in four dimensions at strong coupling by means of
Review of AdS/CFT Integrability, Chapter V.3: Scattering Amplitudes at Strong Coupling
We review the computation of scattering amplitudes of planar maximally super-symmetric Yang–Mills at strong coupling. By using the AdS/CFT duality the problem boils down to the computation of the
A numerical study of gluon scattering amplitudes in = 4 super Yang-Mills theory at strong coupling
We study gluon scattering amplitudes in = 4 super Yang-Mills theory at strong coupling via the AdS/CFT correspondence. We solve numerically the discretized Euler-Lagrange equations on the square
Universal structure of subleading infrared poles at strong coupling
Recently a concise expression for the subleading infrared singularity of dimensional-regularized gauge theories has been proposed. For conformal theories, such relation involves a universal eikonal
Y-system for scattering amplitudes
We compute super Yang–Mills planar amplitudes at strong coupling by considering minimal surfaces in AdS5 space. The surfaces end on a null polygonal contour at the boundary of AdS. We show how to
Aspects of Scattering Amplitudes: Symmetry and Duality
In recent years there have been significant progresses in the understanding of scattering amplitudes at both strong and weak coupling. There are new dualities discovered, new symmetries demystified
The algebra of the Lax connection for T-dual models
The Poisson bracket of Lax connections in the T-dual model is calculated and it is shown that they are non-local, which is opposite to the Poisson brackets of the Lax connection in the original model.

Gluon scattering amplitudes at strong coupling
We describe how to compute planar gluon scattering amplitudes at strong coupling in = 4 super Yang Mills by using the gauge/string duality. The computation boils down to finding a certain classical
Gluon scattering in N=4 super-Yang-Mills theory from weak to strong coupling
I describe some recent developments in the understanding of gluon scattering amplitudes in N=4 super-Yang-Mills theory in the large-N_c limit. These amplitudes can be computed to high orders in the
Comments on gluon scattering amplitudes via AdS/CFT
In this article we consider n gluon color ordered, planar amplitudes in = 4 super Yang Mills at strong 't Hooft coupling. These amplitudes are approximated by classical surfaces in AdS5 space. We
Comments on gluon 6-point scattering amplitudes in = 4 SYM at strong coupling
We use the AdS-CFT prescription of Alday and Maldacena [1] to analyze gluon 6-point scattering amplitudes at strong coupling in = 4 SYM. By cutting and gluing we obtain AdS 6-point amplitudes that
Quark scattering amplitudes at strong coupling
Following Alday and Maldacena [1], we describe a string theory method to compute the strong coupling behavior of the scattering amplitudes of quarks and gluons in planar = 2 super Yang-Mills theory
Planar quark scattering at strong coupling and universality
We discuss scattering of fundamental matter in the planar and strong coupling limit via the AdS/CFT correspondence, generalizing the recently proposed calculation for adjoint matter due to Alday and
Gluon scattering in N = 4 Super Yang‐Mills at finite temperature
We extend the AdS/CFT prescription of Alday and Maldacena to finite temperature T, defining an amplitude for gluon scattering in N = 4 Super Yang‐Mills at strong coupling from string theory. It is
