We study the extent of the conformal window for an SU(3) gauge theory with N{f} Dirac fermions in the fundamental representation. We present lattice evidence for 12<or=N{f}<or=16 that the infrared behavior is governed by a fixed point, while confinement and chiral symmetry breaking are present for N{f}<or=8.

Exploring the conformal window: SU(2) gauge theory on the lattice
We study the SU(2) gauge theory on the lattice with different numbers of fermions in the fundamental representation of the gauge group to explore the gauge theory phase diagram. We find evidence forExpand
Study of the scaling properties in SU(2) gauge theory with eight flavors
We present our preliminary study of the SU(2) gauge theory with 8 flavors of fermions in fundamental representation. This theory could be a candidate of the gauge theory with conformal fixed point.Expand

The physics of eight flavours
Abstract We study Quantum Chromodynamics with eight flavours by use of lattice simulations and present evidence that the theory still breaks chiral symmetry in the zero temperature, continuum limit.Expand
