A Late Mississippian paleokarst is developed on the Leadville Formation and underlying carbonate units in central Colorado. Caverns, sinkholes, solution- enlarged vertical joints (cutters), channelways, and breccia-rubble soil zones typify the karst-solution features which occur extensively throughout central Colorado.
