Cystitis glandularis is a very rare proliferative disorder of the mucus-producing glands within the mucosa and submucosa of urinary bladder epithelium. We report such a case of glandular cystitis with intestinal metaplasia masquerading as a bladder tumor in a young male patient who presented with severe obstructive urinary symptoms.
