BACKGROUND Very few studies have compared laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (LRYGB) and laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) outcomes or analyzed improvement in cardiovascular risk (CVR) after bariatric surgery.
