  • BACKGROUND With the increasing experience in laparoscopic ventral and incisonal hernia repair this minimal invasive technique has also been used to repair parastomal hernias. Different types of laparoscopic repair have been described. METHODS Laparoscopic repairs can mainly be divided in two groups: "keyhole-techniques" and "Sugarbaker techniques".
