BACKGROUND Asthma, laryngitis and chronic cough are atypical symptoms of the gastroesophageal reflux disease. AIM To analyze the efficacy of laparoscopic surgery in the remission of extra-esophageal symptoms in patients with gastroesophageal reflux, related to asthma.
