In this study the relationship between language skill and frontotemporal volumes was compared in 69 medically treated subjects with epilepsy and 34 healthy children, aged 6.1-16.6 years. Also, whether patients with linguistic deficits had abnormal volumes and atypical associations between volumes and language skills in these brain regions was determined.
