Higgs and superparticle mass predictions from the landscape
- Physics
- 2017
A bstractPredictions for the scale of SUSY breaking from the string landscape go back at least a decade to the work of Denef and Douglas on the statistics of flux vacua. The assumption that an…
Supergravity gauge theories strike back: There is no crisis for SUSY but a new collider may be required for discovery
- Physics
- 2015
More than 30 years ago, Arnowitt-Chamseddine-Nath (ACN) and others established the compelling framework of supergravity gauge theories (SUGRA) as a picture for the next step in beyond the Standard…
Supersymmetry with Radiatively-Driven Naturalness: Implications for WIMP and Axion Searches
- PhysicsSymmetry
- 2015
The allowed range of Peccei-Quinn (PQ) scale \(f_a\) is shown and compared to the values expected to be probed by the axion dark matter search experiment (ADMX) axion detector in the near future and WIMP detection rates are suppressed, which are suppressed from usual expectations.

Mediation of supersymmetry breaking in gauge messenger models
- Physics
- 2006
We study gauge mediation of supersymmetry breaking in SU(5) supersymmetric grand unified theory with gauge fields as messengers. The generated soft supersymmetry breaking parameters lead to close to…
Supersymmetric unification without low energy supersymmetry and signatures for fine-tuning at the LHC
- Physics
- 2005
The cosmological constant problem is a failure of naturalness and suggests that a fine-tuning mechanism is at work, which may also address the hierarchy problem. An example — supported by Weinberg's…
Focus points and naturalness in supersymmetry
- Physics
- 2000
We analyze focus points in supersymmetric theories, where a parameter's renormalization group trajectories meet for a family of ultraviolet boundary conditions. We show that in a class of models…
Radiatively generated maximal mixing scenario for the Higgs boson mass and the least fine-tuned minimal supersymmetric standard model.
- PhysicsPhysical review letters
- 2006
It is argued that given the experimental constraints on the Higgs boson mass the leastfine-tuned parameter space of the minimal supersymmetric standard model is with negative top-squark masses squared at the grand unification scale, which alleviates constraints on possible models for supersymmetry breaking in which fine-tuning is absent.
