The subregional localization of different nicotinic acetylcholine receptor subtypes in human cerebral cortex was estimated by quantitative in vitro autoradiography using the nicotinic ligands [3H](-)nicotine, [3H]cytisine and [3H]epibatidine in large whole human forebrain hemispheres.
