Lactoferrin (LF) is one of the most abundant proteins found in milk, and it has been reported to have anti-inflammatory properties. However, the anti-inflammatory effects of LF on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced endometritis and the underlying molecular mechanisms remain to be elucidated.
