Description is given of the methods used in the laboratory for i) culturing soil plant-parasitic nematades, ii) determination of the effects of soil temperature, soil moisture, and host plants on their multiplication rate, iii) determination of their ability ta survive soil desiccation and ta enter anhydrobiosis during the dry season, iv) their life cycle and v) their potential pathogerucity.
