The lethal effects of the benzoylphenyl urea diflubenzuron were assessed under laboratory conditions against one day old fourth (IV) Dociostaurus maroccanus (Thunberg) (Orthoptera: Acrididae: Gomphocerinae) instars. Following exposure by ingestion of a single dose applied to short pieces of wheat seedlings, nymphs were monitored for two moults until the adult stage.
