The invention discloses a pair of labor-saving pliers which is much labor-saving when in use. The pair of labor-saving pliers comprises a left handle and a right handle, wherein, a left tong head is fixedly arranged at the upper end of the left handle; a slide bar and a positioning hole are arranged at the upper end of the right handle respectively; the slide bar is arranged in the chute of the lower end of a right tong head in a sliding manner; a positioning plug which is matched with the positioning hole is arranged at the upper end of the left handle; the positioning plug is movably arranged in the positioning hole; a left mounting hole and a right mounting hole are formed on the left tong head and the right tong head respectively; and a pin shaft penetrates the left mounting hole and the right mounting hole to moveably connect the left tong head and the right tong head. By utilizing the labor-saving principle of a lever, the labor-saving pliers with the structure have the advantage that the acting force which is transmitted to the tong head parts is enabled to be remarkably enlarged. Therefore, the processes of shearing, clamping and twisting are allowed to be comparatively easy and much labor-saving.
