A one-target-multitriggered hybridization chain reaction (MHCR) strategy was designed for ultrasensitive electrochemical detection of DNA by combining the isothermal strand-displacement polymerase reaction (ISDPR) with the DNA self-assembly on a DNA sensor surface.
