NAIG Nuclear Research Laboratory is provided with two types of hot cell, one of which is used for gamma-ray irradiation and the other for radiochemical researches. The housing capacities of them were estimated by calculation and determined by measuring leakage doses after the construction. The scattered gamma ray through the labyrinth of the gamma-irradiation cell containing 3000 curies of Co/sup 60/ was measured with a pulse height analyzer.
