Skeletal changes are described that were observed in dogs from 9 months to 6 yr after the administration of various doses of Sr/sup 90/. Ten out of 22 dogs developed malignant bone tumors, 4 developed leukemia, and 3 developed nonskeletal tumors. Data are included from microscopic and radioautographic studies of bones from all dogs.
