Topical corticosteroids are widely used in the treatment of inflammatory dermatoses at dermatology. However, their long-term uncontrolled usage may cause local side effects on the skin such as atrophy, striae, telangiectasia or systemic side effects associated with skin absorption such as diabetes, hypertension, hirsutism.
