Abstract The energies of activation of the interaction cf alkyl trimethylammonium surfactants with dipalmitoyl glycerol, dipalmitoyl phosphatidylethanolamine, and dipalmitoyl lecithin monolayers spread at the air-water interface were estimated from the increase of the surface pressure with the concentration of the injected surfactant.
